3% was correct

Today in class we did many different things such as talked about Mr. Schick’s story about how he thought it was cool to keep flushing the stalls in bathroom in-tell the water got everywhere. But then he thought he would get caught if he stepped in the water and then his footprint would be discovered. So, then he decided to sneak out the window and go back to his class. That story defiantly got a chuckle out of me because I use to think the same way with getting caught by my finger prints and all of that. Something else that we talked about was if either 3% or 9% was correct from our activity from the other day. Turns out that it was actually 3% rather than 9%. Which I actually guessed was going to be the correct percentage that many different websites thought as well. Overall, today was a good day in class and I can’t wait for Friday to be here.

Migration packet

Today, was another chill sort of day meaning we didn't take to many notes we mainly just highlighted phrases that we have already talked about that were in the migration packet. When we found something similar to our notes and the packet, we would underline it and then see if our notes from the PowerPoint were the same to the packet. I think almost all of them were the same besides one which talked about the percentage of the worlds people that were international migrants. Our notes said that the percentage was 9% but then the packet said it was 3% in 2015. So, we aren't too sure which one is the most accurate since there both from the same resource. But tomorrow we are going to find out which one is the correct one so then we will obviously know what the right answer incase it’s on a test. Overall, today was a decent day besides my arms being sore still.

New section introduced

So today we got introduced to our new section which is migration. We took a good number of notes which was not good for me because on Monday I had to do this weight training session at the JC gym and I was so sore today like my arms feel like I got like 10 shots from the doctors. Anyway, in our new notes we talked a lot about migration, international, and internal migration. Something else that we talked about was International migration patterns and something that I found out today was that approximately 9 percent of the worlds people are international migrants. We also talked about the United States patterns and how approximately 43 million are foreign born residents as of 2010. Overall that’s basically what our new notes consisted of but at the beginning of class we talked about exams which I’m not very excited for because it’s going to be lots of stress during the week before and during exams. But I thought we got out the 21st for Christmas break but it’s actually the 20th since that day is only an exam make up day.

FInal day (sort of)

Today in class we took our last test of the year which was pretty exciting because well we have no more test besides the exam. Overall the t...
