Highlight and highlight

So today in class we got another packet and did pretty much what we did last time by highlighting important information that we thought should be highlighted. After we read and highlighted everything, we thought should be underlined we took those and wrote them as notes in our notebook. Which I guess is a good idea, but then I also like when we just write down the notes from the PowerPoint into our notebooks because we know that there correct. But if we just do everything on our own some of the notes, we take can be wrong. I think I filled about 3 pages worth of notes from the packet and I’m hoping most of them are correct so then I didn't just write them and then realize that there incorrect. But then I guess it could be a good idea because read and highlighted but then we also wrote them down which could really stick the information in our brain. Overall my notes talked a lot about Mexico and how most immigrants are illegal and should really not even be here, because if there caught, they could be put into some big consequences. My notes also talked about Ellis Island and how over 12 million immigrants were processed there which I think is mid blowing. Overall todays class went by fast and I learned a lot of new stuff of immigrants and migration.
