Podcast

Today in class we listened to a podcast that we started last week but we sort of refreshed our minds with the information by restarting it. The podcast basically talks about migration and how there are so many reasons for people to ask for asylum and if those reasons our worth taking those people in to the United States. It also talks about Nazi Germany and how when a boat of around 800-900 Jews came to the U.S. to ask for asylum, we turned them down because we thought it wasn’t a good enough reason. So instead all of the Jews that came here for our help were rejected and later killed because of us and how we didn't let them come and have the freedom they were asking for. It’s a good thing that we later realised that we should take in the people that are having trouble. Overall today went by really well and I learned a lot more things that I did not know.
