Today was
a very short day due to the 2-hour delay because it was so flipping called in
the morning, they had to push it back just so students at the bus stops don't
get hyperthermia. Me personally I wish everyday was like this and I'm most
students and teachers would agree as well. Anyway, today in class we finished
up the video which was only like 15 mins left so it wasn't too much left. It
basically just wrapped everything up in the video and said some things that
were already said in the beginning of the video. We also got to eat this bread
that Mr. Schick got us because it included most of the grains that we’ve been
talking. Those grains include wheat, barley, cornmeal, etc. I thought the bread
tasted pretty good. It definitely had a different taste to it since I’ve never
tasted barley in bread. Overall todays class was short and quick which I love
and wish it was like that all the time.

3rd Part of video
Today’s
video notes:
- Animal domestication: raise the
animals themselves
- Goats and sheep were the first
animals to be domesticated
- beast of Burdon was the most
powerful machine
- Powerful animals were not native
to Guinea
- Carnivore- eats meat
- Herbivore- eats plants
- 14 animals that met all of the
requirements are goats, sheep, pigs, cows, horses, donkeys, bacterian
camels, Arabinan camels, water buffalo, llamas, reindeer, yaks, mithans,
baili cattle
- not one of those animals are in
Guinea, Australia, or Africa
- the llamas come from South America
- the other 13 are from Asia,
Europe, and North America
- cows, pigs, goats, and sheep are
from the middle east
- A place in the middle east is
known as the fertile crescent because of the fertile land and all of the
animals
- you need a productive community,
so you don’t have to worry about food
Basically, today we just
watched the same video and took notes on it like the last 2 times. I hope we
get a lot of snow tomorrow so I can go sledding for the first time this year
and I hope schools are cancelled.
