Two hour delay
So today we had a two-hour delay because of the horrible weather we had yesterday. I love days like today when we come in at 10 and leave at 2:45 which I think should be our normal schedule. Overall, todays class was pretty short and fairly good. We took a bunch of notes just like last class. We talked about what a sex ratio which is basically the number of males per 100 females in the population. Studies show that developed countries tend to have more females than males because females usually live longer than males do. Something else that we talked about was the demographic transition and the 4 stages that are concluded with that. The first stage is the low growth, second stage is the high growth, the third stage is moderate growth, and finally stage four is low growth. Overall, todays class went by really quick since it was shorter and we took many notes which kept us busy.
