Its Monday:(

So today we went over a couple new notes as well as the test that we have tomorrow. Some of the things that we talked about in class today was things like immigration concerns in Europe. People in Europe are concerned that the population now is mostly fueled by immigrants from other regions. They also fear that the host country’s culture will be lost because immigrants add different religions, languages, and practice different food and other cultural habitats. Also, most immigrants are blamed for crime, unemployment rates, and high welfare costs. The last thing that we talked about was characteristics of migrants. Ravenstein noted that most long- distance migrants are males which is kind of weird. He also explains that most long- distance migrants are adult individuals rather than families with children. the last thing he explains is that most long- distance migrants are young adults seeking work. Overall, todays went by pretty fast and I can’t wait to get our test over with tomorrow.
