Day 7 classwork
When it comes to the topic of how the Roman empire declined and you compare it to our own country today. I would say that the US is nothing like the Roman empire but there are some small details that are similar between the two. In my opinion, the US is not declining like the Roman empire did because we aren't slowing being destroyed. Yes, there are some problems like global warming but that's not causing the US to decline its the whole world. When you look closely at the US we see that we have a "good" president that knows what he's doing when it comes to solving problems that are occurring. We have a somewhat strong economy, military and overall a great place to live for education, jobs, etc. Rome didn't have some of the things that we had today. After many years of the Roman empire being established, they experienced multiple problems that include economic decline, emperors being the worst leaders, which then caused multiple people to go against everything. Overall I think the US is nothing compared to the decline of the Roman empire.
