In class assignment

Using the CIA World Factbook, rank the five religions we have been studying by the percentage of the world’s population that follow them. Then, see if those statistics are consistent with what you find on adherents.com.
1.    Christian- 31.4%

2.    Muslim- 23.2%

3.    Hindu- 15%

4.    Buddhist- 7.1%

5.    Jewish- 0.2%

In the website listed the statistics are very different but are somewhat close to the numbers above. In the website it says 33% are Christian’s but in the CIA World Factbook it has the percentage being 31.4%. The next religion is Muslim which on the adherent’s website, says that the total percentage is 14%. The third religion was Hindu which the CIA World Factbook said had a total of 15% but the other website said it only had 14% which is not too far away. The second to last religion was Buddhist and the adherent website said its percentage was 6% which again is not too far away the World Factbook number. The last religion was Jewish which the adherent website said had a total of 0.22% compared to the CIA World Factbook that said it was 0.2% which isn’t to far off. Overall todays class was wonderful.
